An active committee structure is at the heart of every Chamber. Committee members make valuable business contact while moving the business community forward. The Chamber has various divisions and sub-committees that deal with a wide range of issues and oversee the work of the Chamber. Contact the Committee or Division Chair if you would like to get involved with one or more of the committees.

Agri-Business Committee – LaDonna Burgess & Kees Rodenberg
Goal: To support and promote agribusiness and its significant impact on the community’s economy.

• Salute to Agriculture Week or some agriculture promotion event
• Promote agriculture through awards and recognition. Recognize outstanding farmers/ranchers
• Develop list of farms/businesses offering tours
• Special training sessions/luncheons to address ag issues

Community Development & Beautification– Pat McCourt
Goal: To promote beautification programs that will enhance the image of the area.

• Facilitate projects that will enhance the overall appearance of the community.
• Encourage involvement of entire community with beautification projects
• Sponsor a clean up day with the City of Willcox “Day of Caring”
• Solicit funds to do neighborhood beautification, explore grant opportunities.

Membership - No Chair
Goal: To develop and coordinate programs to orient and integrate new members, enhance overall membership retention, and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Assist with calls and personal contact with existing Chamber members for the purpose of membership retention.
• Assist Chamber staff with ribbon cuttings and groundbreakings.
• Develop a Chamber Ambassadors program to increase the awareness of the Chamber and businesses throughout the area.
• Assist in the orientation of new members, encouraging them to become active and participate in committee and activities.
• Develop new member packet.
• Conduct the nomination and award process for the business, citizen and employee of the year awards.

Events – Delcie Schultz
Goal:  To promote the community and the Chamber through programs and events that will bring visitors to our community.
      Christmas Apple Festival
      Christmas Lighted Parade
      Cowboy Hall of Fame
      Wings Over Willcox (WOW Committee w/ Chamber Staff Assistance)
            And all other events sponsored by the Chamber

Marketing & Tourism – Monica Hogue & Amanda Kirkendall  
Goal: To promote Willcox as a good place to live, work and play.

• Educate community on “What’s Happening in Willcox” Event training for front line employees and employers.
• Develop and coordinate tools to market the Willcox area. Partner with the media.
• Recommend advertising plan.
• Development and expansion of website
